One key to beautiful ribbed fabrics is hanging the ribber comb evenly.  A wonky comb insertion puts more weight on one edge of the knitting … and trouble!

  • Mark the center tooth of the ribber comb with a bright nail polish
  • When you insert the comb for your cast on, line the marked tooth in the center of your cast on edge.  Voila! No guessing!

I had a friend give me a 260 Bulky. Someone took the cover for it and no one knows what happened to it. Do you know where I might find a cover for this machine? I would appreciate your help. Thank you so much. I used to be a dealer in Austin, Texas. I enjoyed it very much. I am out of touch here in Texas. Please let me know if you can help.

    Hi Charlotte!
Since the machine are no longer made, you may be able to get one from someone who has scrapped a 260 for parts. You might want to post an ISO(in search of) post on our “For Sale or Wanted” classified site.
Perhaps you could find one on one of the many machine knitting forums. Yahoo, Facebook, Ravery all have active forums.
