Have you ever had an instruction that read: “Transfer every 4th stitch” or “Put every 9th needle in hold position”?
I don’t know about you, but I hate counting needles every time. Even with the number strip, I find it takes too long to figure out what needles I’m working with and it’s too easy to mess up!
Use a pencil and mark the needlebed. The marks will remain in place while you are knitting, but are easily removed when you are done.
